Chad Fulton Obituary and EMT Death, Saint Joseph Missouri

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chad Fulton, a beloved father, first responder, and community pillar, who tragically left us far too soon.

Chad was a man of remarkable service and strength. As an EMT-B with the Andrew County Ambulance District, a firefighter with the Savannah Fire Department, and the owner of Fulton Construction in St. Joseph, Missouri, Chad’s dedication to his community was unwavering. He wore many hats, not for recognition, but out of deep compassion and duty. He was also an instructor with EVE4EMS/Fire, where he spent over 16 years educating first responders, instilling safety and leadership into the next generation.

The Andrew County Ambulance District remembered Chad as a man of courage and compassion, stating, “Chad was a true public servant whose dedication will never be forgotten.” His colleagues at Buchanan County EMS echoed these sentiments, calling him “an extraordinary EMT” who was always ready to help and a friend you could count on in every circumstance.

Chad’s presence extended beyond emergency scenes. He was also a respected board member of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, where his leadership and advocacy made a lasting impact. The Chamber shared, “Chad held a special place in our chamber and all of our lives. Above all, he was our friend.”

Those who knew Chad personally remember his infectious spirit, his generosity, and the pride he took in being a devoted father, husband, friend, and mentor. His legacy is not only in the countless lives he saved or guided—but in the example he set, and the love he gave.

Chad is survived by his loving wife Angela, his beloved daughter Zoey, and many friends, family members, and colleagues who mourn this tremendous loss.

As Sawnya Williams, a friend of the family, reflected, “Chad was young… way too young to be taken. You truly never know when, where or why. Praying for Angela and Zoey for strength to get through the next few days and years without you.”

Though Chad may be gone, the echoes of his selfless service and boundless heart will continue to resonate across every life he touched.

Rest easy, Chad. We have it from here.
